Community Outreach: Community outreach volunteers help spread the word about Ohio Animal Foundation and our mission, as well as help distribute our educational materials. We are especially in need of volunteers to assist with tabling at community events. If you’re outgoing, love talking with people and love events, this is the job for you!

Fundraising: All organizations need funding in order to achieve their mission and Ohio Animal Foundation is no exception. Fundraising volunteers help seek out opportunities to raise funds for OAF and also support the activities we already have planned. Our fundraising activities include philanthropic giving, community fundraisers (such as restaurant dine-to-donate days), grants, and special events. We can put the FUN in fundraising!

Writing: We are always looking for talented writers to help develop content for our website and other organizational materials. Our content is the core of our mission and programs! If you are interested in writing for Ohio Animal Foundation, we request that you submit two to three samples of your work. In addition to writing, we hold informal writer’s meetings every other month, which you are highly encouraged to attend!

Graphic Design: Have an eye for the visually stunning? We want you! We have a variety of graphic design needs, from small website advertisements to printed program handouts and promotional materials.

Board Service: Interested in a longer term volunteer commitment? We are currently recruiting members to serve on our Board of Directors. The Ohio Animal Foundation Board is responsible for general oversight of the organization. Board members serve two-year terms and participate in approximately six full board meetings per year. You may also be asked to serve on a board sub-committee. If you are interested in serving on the Ohio Animal Foundation Board of Directors, please view the full board member position description and submit an application form along with a copy of your resume.

Please complete a volunteer application if you would like to get involved. We’re flexible with time commitments and want to make sure that your volunteer experience is the best that it can be!
